Jindal Tork Provides Insights on IRS Priorities in 2019

Taft partner Sonya Jindal Tork’s law bulletin, “IRS Priorities in 2019: Non-Exempt Charitable Trusts Compliance,” was recently featured as the lead article in the Hamilton County Law Library newsletter. The article provides an overview of the IRS Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division’s Fiscal Year 2019 Program Letter and its impact on Non-Exempt Charitable Trusts (NECTs). Jindal Tork has experience in all aspects of tax and succession planning work. Her practice oversees work on entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships, restructurings, executive compensation and employee benefits, nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations and foundations, charitable gaming, tax incentives including tax credits and opportunity zones, estate planning, business succession planning, and asset protection planning. She also serves as co-chair of Taft’s Gender Advancement Committee, which works to develop, promote and advance women attorneys within Taft, the legal profession and the community.
