Hoffheimer and Kaplan Article Published in Ohio Probate Law Journal

Taft private client attorneys Daniel J. Hoffheimer and Aaron H. Kaplan’s article “Beneficiary Designation Alert: U.S. Supreme Court Addresses Law Invalidating Ex-Wife As Insurance Beneficiary” was published in the September/October 2018 issue of the Probate Law Journal of Ohio. In the article, they discuss how revocation on divorce statutes can be useful, but stress the importance of updating beneficiary designations after any major life event.
