Taft attorney Robert J. Hicks was quoted in the article “5 practice areas expected to see major growth in 2017,” which was published by The Indiana Lawyer on Nov. 16. The article discusses the five practice areas projected to experience significant growth according to the 2017 Practice Outlook Guide published by BTI Consulting Group.
Hicks is presently the partner-in-charge of Taft’s Indianapolis office and will become Taft’s firm-wide managing partner on Jan. 1, 2017. He is a member of the firm's Business & Finance group. Hicks focuses his practice on complex business and commercial transactions, private equity and venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, structured financings, business advisory services and structural tax matters. He serves as outside counsel for the largest private equity fund in Indiana, along with several businesses.
