Guevara to Present at ABI’s 2019 Annual Spring Meeting
Taft partner David Guevara will be a speaker at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s 2019 Annual Spring Meeting in Washington D.C. on April 13. He will be a panelist for the session titled “Addressing Environmental Claims and Liabilities in Chapter 11: Administrative Expenses, Third-Party Liability, Abandonment and Brownfield Development.”
Guevara is chair of Taft’s Brownfield and Site Development practice area. He concentrates his practice in complex environmental, litigation and insurance law matters. A significant part of his practice includes counseling businesses, real estate development firms, municipalities, redevelopment commissions, financial institutions and individuals in the acquisition, disposition and redevelopment of environmentally-contaminated properties.
