Kendall Authors Commercial Property Executive Article on Brownfield Data Center Development

Taft Atlanta Co-Partner-in-Charge Wyatt Kendall authored the article, “Turning Brownfields Into Data Centers,” published Aug. 5 in Commercial Property Executive.

In the article, Kendall discusses how brownfield sites can provide an alternative to traditional greenfield development, offering potential advantages such as existing industrial zoning, infrastructure access, and financial incentives. He also addresses environmental due diligence, liability considerations, and other risks that developers should evaluate.

Wyatt focuses his practice on brownfield redevelopment and urban renewal projects, advising local and national industrial, multi-family, mixed-use, and retail clients on the acquisition, development, disposition, management, and financing of properties with significant environmental issues. He also represents corporate and lending clients on environmental matters in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
