The panel centered on data incidents, including how to prepare for, identify and recover when an event happens. Scot is the co-chair of Taft's Privacy and Data Security Practice and a frequent author and public speaker on the issues of data privacy, security, data breach and incident response management and counseling. Scot holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional ("CIPP/US") certification and has spoken at the Global Summit of the International Association of Privacy Professionals in Washington, D.C., the Privacy + Security Forum, and TEDx Dayton.
