Fry Joins Taft's Tax Practice in Cleveland
Taft welcomes partner Richard Fry to the firm’s Tax practice in the Cleveland office.
Fry focuses his practice on solving complex state and local tax problems for businesses and individuals. He guides clients through multistate sales and use tax, commercial activity tax, and personal income tax compliance and controversies, including high-stakes disputes before the Ohio Supreme Court, the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals, and the Internal Revenue Service. He also advises clients on tax credit and economic development incentives.
Prior to joining Taft, Fry was a partner at a well-known regional law firm in Cleveland and Akron.
He earned his J.D., summa cum laude, and a Master of Taxation from The University of Akron, and his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Kent State University.
