Taft partner Peter French has been appointed chair of the publications committee for the product liability section of Defense Research Institute (DRI). DRI is the leading organization of civil defense attorneys and in-house counsel that focuses on developing ongoing and critical dialogue about areas of practice.

French is an experienced litigator and represents clients in federal and state court lawsuits in many United States jurisdictions. He advises financial institutions, manufacturers, software companies, large commercial real estate developers, construction contractors, insurance companies and many other businesses in a wide variety of complex litigation matters.
