Dershaw and Flamm to Speak at 37th Annual NKU Labor-Management Conference
Cincinnati employment partners Brian G. Dershaw and Justin D. Flamm will be presenting at the 37th Annual NKU Labor-Management Conference on May 15. The conference brings together members of the labor relations community to discuss current issues and discuss successful cooperation strategies.
Brian Dershaw will present on developments under the Americans with Disabilities Act; Title VII; the Age Discrimination in Employment Act; the Family and Medical Leave Act; and other statutes. Justin Flamm will address basic “Just Cause” principles with particular attention on issues concerning off-duty employee conduct. The program will be interactive and centered on a case study involving an employer discharge action taken under a collective bargaining agreement and an employee drug testing policy.
