Court of International Trade Orders Reconsideration of Countervailing Duties for Client
The Court of International Trade (CIT) ordered a reevaluation of duties on Hyundai’s steel exports. This ruling could have significant implications for the steel industry and global trade. In a challenge led by Brady Mills , CIT ruled that Commerce’s determination of countervailing duties on port usage rights was not supported by substantial evidence. CIT also remanded Commerce’s countervailing subsidy on sewer usage rights.
