Butler Presents at the Kansas State University College of Architecture, Planning & Design
Taft Chicago partner Liz Butler will present a lecture at the Kansas State University College of Architecture, Planning * Design (APDesign) as part of the Ekdahl Distinguished Lecture Series. The title of her lecture is From Urban Planning to Legal Advocacy – Making an Impact in Real Estate & Community development One Case at a Time.
Butler focuses her practice in the areas of land use, zoning, entitlements, urban planning, public incentives, historic preservation, and economic development, as well as general real estate transactions. She has negotiated and enacted economic development and historic preservation incentives, performed general property evaluations and zoning due diligence, and structured and closed numerous real estate acquisitions and dispositions. Butler is a member of the American Planning Association and a certified member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
