Bilott Speaks at Iowa Environmental Council
Taft partner Robert A. Bilott was the "Speaker of Honor" at the Iowa Environmental Council’s 2016 Annual Conference "ECOnomics: Dollars, Sense & Sustainability," held on Oct. 6. Bilott presented "Unregulated Drinking Water Contaminants: Regulatory, Legal and Scientific Challenges" during the conference.
Bilott has been a frequent speaker on topics related to his work to hold DuPont accountable for the harm caused by its release of PFOA in and around Parkersburg, W.Va. Bilott, who serves as co-lead counsel for the plaintiff's altering committee handling the litigation against chemical giant DuPont, has been in the spotlight since New York Times Magazine dubbed him "The Lawyer Who Became DuPont's Worst Nightmare" in an article published on Jan. 6, 2016.
