Bilott Quoted Regarding EPA's Delay in Setting Exposure Limit for Contaminants in Drinking Water
Taft partner Robert A. Bilott was quoted in the article “Perfluorinated compounds got increased scrutiny,” which was published by Chemical & Engineering News magazine in the 2016 Year in Review edition. Bilott, who serves as co-lead counsel for the plaintiff’s altering committee handling litigation against DuPont, has been in the spotlight since New York Times Magazine dubbed him "The Lawyer Who Became DuPont's Worst Nightmare" in an article published on Jan. 6, 2016. The New York Times Magazine article continues to be widely recognized, with New York Times Magazine calling it "one of our most engaging stories of 2016". It was also recently included in Longform's "Best of 2016" list.
