Bilott and Butler to Speak at ABA Roundtable

Taft partners Robert A. Bilott and David J. Butler will speak at an American Bar Association roundtable on Dec. 20. The pair will present on lessons learned from the DuPont C-8 litigation. Click here to register for the event.

Bilott is a member of the firm’s Environmental, Litigation and Product Liability and Personal Injury practices. He represents a diverse range of clients on a wide variety of matters involving federal, state and local environmental laws and related litigation. Bilott, who serves as co-lead counsel for the plaintiff’s altering committee handling the litigation, has been in the spotlight since New York Times Magazine dubbed him “The Lawyer Who Became DuPont’s Worst Nightmare” in an article published on Jan. 6, 2016.

Butler is the partner-in-charge of Taft’s Columbus office. He is a business trial lawyer with experience representing companies in a wide range of complex, commercial legal matters, including class actions and multi-district litigation.
