Bilott and Butler Mentioned in Article on Ohio's Biggest Jury Awards of 2017

Taft partners Robert Bilott and David Butler were mentioned in a recent article detailing Central Ohio’s biggest jury awards for 2017. Bilott is a member of the firm’s Environmental, Litigation and Product Liability and Personal Injury groups. He represents a diverse range of clients on a wide variety of matters involving federal, state and local environmental laws and related litigation. Bilott, who serves as co-lead counsel for the plaintiff’s altering committee handling the litigation, has been in the spotlight since New York Times Magazine dubbed him “The Lawyer Who Became DuPont’s Worst Nightmare” in an article published on Jan. 6, 2016.

Butler is the partner-in-charge of Taft’s Columbus office. He is a business trial lawyer with experience representing companies in a wide range of complex, commercial legal matters, including class actions and multi-district litigation.
