Barnes Named President-Elect for Hiram House
Kevin D. Barnes was recently named President-Elect by The Hiram House Board of Trustees. The historic Hiram House is Ohio’s oldest youth camp. It is located on 172 scenic acres in Moreland Hills, Ohio. Mr. Barnes first became a Hiram House Trustee in 1996 and has been an active Board member since that time, serving on both the Executive and Finance Committees.
Hiram House, founded in Cleveland 1896 as one of the first Settlement Houses in the nation, operates Ohio’s oldest camp and is one of the oldest social service agencies in Northeast Ohio. Hiram House Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association and a United Way Partner Service Agency. Each year it provides quality outdoor education and recreation programs, services and facilities for thousands of children, adults, schools, religious and civic groups and other organizations throughout the region.
