Taft partner Tom Barnard was sworn in as the 2019 president of the Indianapolis Bar Association at the 2019 Leadership Celebration and Installation Luncheon on Jan. 29. Prior to becoming IndyBar president, he served on the board and as an officer for many years.

Barnard is a partner in Taft’s Litigation group and has substantial experience in complex litigation, particularly involving environmental, insurance coverage, takings and securities issues. For over 30 years, he has represented clients in federal and state courts from Indiana to Washington, D.C.
