Defending VSSR’s: What Every Employer Needs to Know
Ohio provides an additional award to an injured worker when there is a Violation of a Specific Safety Requirement (VSSR). A finding of a VSSR results in a penalty against an employer and can be very costly, often more so than OSHA citations. Fortunately for employers, many VSSR’s are defensible, or at least manageable. In this segment, we will discuss how you can defend your company against VSSR liability.
