OSBA Introduction to Real Estate Practice

David V. Allen was a faculty member of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Introduction to Real Estate Practice on April 25.  Mr. Allen’s topic provided an overview of the sale and purchase of commercial real estate, from the perspective of both the buyer’s attorney and the seller’s attorney. 

Highlighted for discussion purposes were samples of documents used in commercial real estate transactions, including:

  • Purchase and Sale Agreements
  • Letters of Intent
  • Confidentiality Agreements
  • Seller’s and Buyer’s Closing Checklists
  • Seller’s and Buyer’s Letters of Escrow Instruments
