IFA-USA Midwest & Taft Conference
IFA-USA Midwest and Taft invite you to “Navigating Post-Election Policy Shifts: U.S. Tax and Trade Policy and the Global Business Outlook for 2027,” a CLE/CPE seminar examining the outlook for U.S. federal tax and trade policy following the 2026 midterm elections and its implications for cross-border investment and global business.
Businesses are seeking practical insights into emerging trends shaping U.S. and global tax policy and a clearer understanding of critical developments in U.S. tax and trade legislation and regulation. The seminar will explore how these developments may affect compliance obligations, supply chains, cross-border operations, and strategic business decisions.
The program will include a keynote address by Kevin Salinger, Acting Assistant Secretary for Tax Policy (Treasury) and Acting Chief Counsel (IRS), alongside panel discussions with leading tax, legal, and industry professionals. Discussions will examine what is changing, why it matters, and how businesses can prepare for the evolving policy environment in 2027.
