Taft representatives interviewing on campus are recruiting for all Taft offices. Please be prepared to state the office in which you have interest. While it is not required that you have a strong connection to the city in which you state interest, you should have a believable reason that you wish to live in that city. If you are truly interested, visit the city in advance of your interview. We are not just hiring students for the summer program. We are hiring future partners, so we want to recruit people who wish to be with us long term.
While we are aware that interviews are nerve-wracking, we want to see your level of comfort in a stressful situation. As we interview students, we are determining how they will interact with clients and other lawyers.
Following the on campus interview process, we invite a small number of students to interview at our offices. This allows students to meet with additional people and gain a feel for the firm’s culture. Students meet with several lawyers and have lunch and/or dinner in a more casual setting.
