On Jan. 1, 2025, Taft merged with Sherman & Howard, forming Taft’s Albuquerque office, which serves clients throughout all of New Mexico. Specializing in public finance and economic development, our attorneys serve in a variety of roles including bond counsel, disclosure counsel, and underwriter’s counsel, for billions of dollars in municipal and public financing projects.

The firm’s Public Finance and Economic Development group ranked second in New Mexico for disclosure counsel, fifth in bond counsel, and 15th nationally as disclosure in Bond Buyer 2023 rankings. The firm also received metropolitan rankings for public finance law in New Mexico.
