Wright Provides Pro Bono Trademark Services to Go In Your Purse For A Nurse
Taft partner Amy Wright recently assisted the nonprofit Go In Your Purse For A Nurse by registering the organization’s trademark pro bono. The organization was started by Staten Island couple Dr. Sal and Loreen Indelicato in the Spring of 2020 to provide gift cards to front line health care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Initially started in support of their sister who is a nurse, with the outpouring support for donations, it quickly expanded to honor all nurses at the local hospitals while helping small businesses at the same time.
“It was a pleasure working with the Indelicatos to register the trademark for Go In Your Purse For A Nurse. I was drawn to their passion and commitment to recognize health care workers during this difficult time and wish them continued success with their growing organization,” said Wright.
Wright is a partner in Taft’s Intellectual Property practice group. She focuses her practice on trademark, copyright and right of publicity law in the context of aggressively pursuing infringing entities on behalf of her clients, as well as managing global IP portfolios.
