Taft attorneys Ryan White and Cristina Costa presented “Inter Partes Review is Here to Stay” for the Indianapolis Bar Association on Aug. 14. Sponsored by the IndyBar Intellectual Property Section, the seminar provided an update on recent Inter Partes Review (IPR) cases, as well as best practices moving forward with respect to the ever-growing IPR practice area.

White is a partner in Taft’s Intellectual Property practice group. He counsels individual and corporate clients in all areas of intellectual property law, including the preparation, procurement, licensing and enforcement of patents, as well as the drafting and review of licensing and supplier agreements, IP protection clauses and confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements.

Costa is an associate in Taft’s Intellectual Property and Litigation practice groups. She represents clients in federal and state courts across the country in litigation involving a full range of IP-related issues, including trademark, trade dress, patent, copyright, and trade secret matters.
