Wendy Zabriskie Returns to the Firm
Attorney Wendy Zabriskie joins the firm’s finance and real estate practice groups as a partner.
Zabriskie has nearly 30 years of experience in corporate and real estate finance, development, acquisitions and sales with a particular interest in project management. She is well versed in representing lenders and borrowers in complex corporate and real estate transactions including construction financing for a variety of high profile, complex mixed use, retail, office, multi-family, self storage, industrial projects, and others.
In addition to her practice, Zabriskie has held several professional leadership positions including serving on the board of directors and executive committee for her previous firm. There, she oversaw the day-to-day management of over 80 employees, her firm’s second largest office. She has also held a number of committee positions specializing in strategy, recruitment, advancement, compensation, diversity and others. Her past community involvement accolades include membership of the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority for the City of Birmingham, Mich. and an attorney coach for the mock trial team at Mercy High School in Farmington Hills, Mich.
Zabriskie received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University, and completed her J.D at Wayne State University Law School where she graduated magna cum laude and earned order of the coif designation. In 2017, she earned the honor of being named to the inaugural class of “Notable Women Lawyers in Michigan” by Crain’s Detroit Business.
