Weekley Invited to Join Leadership Ohio Class of 2021

Taft Cleveland partner Brandi N. Weekley has been invited to join the Leadership Ohio Class of 2021 as a Leadership Fellow for Cohort XXVIII. With a limited number of applicants accepted into each class, entrants are selected based on the merit of their applications by the board of trustees and the executive director of Leadership Ohio. The Class of 2021, comprised of 43 members, is the second largest class in the program’s history and includes accomplished professionals from the private sector, government, and non-profit arenas.

Leadership Ohio cultivates experiences that elevate each member’s knowledge, perspective, and connections from a community to a state-wide level. The organization also provides transformative statewide experiences across all regions in Ohio to best serve the members’ communities, workplaces, and the state of Ohio. The Leadership Ohio experience is made up of eight, half-day immersive leadership inquiries from April through November, as they transverse the state—engaging leaders in all regions of Ohio. Weekley focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital transactions. She counsels private equity funds, venture capital funds, and emerging growth companies on all aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, capital formation, and private placements. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting, summa cum laude, from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2006, and earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2010.
