Taft partner Patrick Wartan co-authored the article, “2021 Update: Third-Party Food Delivery Service Lawsuits and Legislation,” published in the December 2021 newsletter of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) Section on Food Law. The article gives insight into the increased growth of food production and delivery over the past five years. However, more recently, third-party delivery companies have been facing nationwide litigation from employment concerns to misleading sales practices.
