Ulbricht to Present at NBI’s FOIA for Attorneys Program

Taft attorney Ashley Ulbricht will present at the National Business Institute’s (NBI) “FOIA for Attorneys: Draft Smart Requests, Fight Denials, and Get Results” program on Sept. 21. Her presentation, “Handling Agency Responses: From Basic Follow Up to Appeals and Litigation,” will address partial releases, redactions and exemption codes, delays and backlogs, follow-up and escalation strategies, and administrative appeals and litigation.

Ulbricht focuses her practice on representing clients in municipal law and public finance. She has a substantial background in handling land use and zoning, real estate, and general civil litigation matters. She advises her clients in areas including public finance, development, and public-private partnerships, municipal utility and telecommunications, construction project management and bid processes, code enforcement litigation, public safety discipline, investigations, §1983 litigation and public safety risk management, police and fire union contract negotiation, public law contract negotiation, and municipal employment law.
