Three Taft Attorneys Named 2009 Lawyers of the Year in Greater Cincinnati by The Best Lawyers in America
Cincinnati, OH, November 24, 2008 – Three attorneys at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP were recently named 2009 Lawyers of the Year in Greater Cincinnati. Recognized were Edward D. Diller, Partner-in-Charge of the Cincinnati office, and partners Gerald S. Greenberg and Timothy E. Hoberg. Based on their particularly high level of peer recognition, they were selected by the editors of The Best Lawyers in America, regarded as the most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession. Taft had three of only six attorneys in Cincinnati who were recognized by Best Lawyers as Lawyer of the Year.
Diller was recognized for his work in Real Estate law and has been listed in Best Lawyers for more than 20 years. He is a a member of the firm’s Executive and Development Committees, and practices primarily in the areas of Real Estate, Health Care and General Corporate law. He has been included among Ohio Super Lawyers listings and in Chambers USA.
Like Diller, Hoberg has been listed in Best Lawyers for more than 20 years. Hoberg was lauded for his work in Corporate law. He concentrates his practice on Corporate and Securities Matters. Hoberg has also been listed in Chambers USA and chosen as an Ohio Super Lawyer.
Greenberg was recognized for Banking law. Greenberg is a partner in the Business and Finance Department and chair of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice area. He also was named an Ohio Super Lawyer by Cincinnati Magazine and is listed in Chambers USA.
Additionally, 86 Taft attorneys – 49 in the Cincinnati office – were honored in The Best Lawyers in America 2009 for outstanding reputations and distinguished work in their practice areas.
