Three Associates Join Taft’s Indianapolis Office
Taft is pleased to announce that Justin A. Allen, Cara M. Johnson and Tammara D. Porter have joined the firm’s Indianapolis office as associates.
Allen is an associate in Taft’s Litigation group. He received his B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from Millikin University, and he earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where he was a senior editor on the Washington University Law Review. During law school, Allen served as president of the Student Law Association of St. Louis and was recognized as the top individual advocate in the school’s Wiley Rutledge Moot Court competition.
Johnson is an associate in Taft’s Business & Finance group. She has a J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and a B.A. in Spanish, magna cum laude, from Valparaiso University. As a law student, Johnson earned the 2012 Barristers’ Pro Bono Award & Service Award and the 2011-2012 IU Maurer Student Pro Bono Award. She is involved in Young Professionals of Central Indiana and volunteers for Second Helpings.
Porter is an associate in Taft’s Litigation group. She received her B.J. in Broadcast News & Strategic Communications and her M.A. in Strategic Communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Porter was a television newscast producer before she earned her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
