Thomas Named to Columbus Bar Association’s Advance Succession Planning Committee
David H. Thomas has been named to the Columbus Bar Association’s newly-formed Advance Succession Planning Committee, which will help create a system for attorneys who are unexpectedly unable to practice law due to death, disability or disbarment.
Thomas is a member of Taft's Corporate Compliance and White Collar Criminal Defense practice. He represents companies, public officials, health care providers and other professionals who are the subject of state and federal investigations and prosecutions. He also assists clients in responding to subpoenas from government regulators, including federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Drug Enforcement Administration and state agencies such as the Ohio Auditor’s Office, Ohio Ethics Commission and Ohio Inspector General.
