Terp and Burke Listed in Who's Who Legal: Environment 2015
Thomas Terp, chairman of the executive committee and managing partner of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, and Kim Burke, partner in Taft’s environmental group, are listed in Who's Who Legal: Environment 2015. Nominees are selected through independent research with clients and peers and represent the leading individuals within environmental law worldwide.
Terp has concentrated his practice on environmental matters and commercial litigation for more than 35 years and has been with Taft since 1973. He represents clients throughout the United States, frequently in precedent-setting litigation, and also advises clients on environmental issues in connection with real estate transfers, loan transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Terp is a graduate of the William and Mary Law School, where he was editor-in-chief of the Law Review.
Burke has concentrated his practice on a variety of environmental law areas for more than 30 years and has been with Taft since 1981. He has represented clients in numerous environmental litigation, Superfund, RCRA and cleanup matters in more than 25 states around the country. Burke is a certified hazardous materials manager and was named “Environmental Law Lawyer of the Year” for the Cincinnati region by Best Lawyers in 2015. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
