Taft’s Dayton Office Adds Corporate Attorney Frederick Hatton
Taft announced today that attorney Frederick (Fred) B. Hatton will join the Dayton office as Of Counsel with the firm’s business and finance practice groups. Hatton, a Dayton native, has been practicing law for more than 17 years and will continue to assist his clients with commercial contracts, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, lending and corporate finance and real estate transactions.
“Fred’s work with start-ups and rapidly growing businesses adds another dimension of expertise to our well rounded business and finance practices,” said Dayton Partner-in-Charge Fred Ungerman. “We’re delighted to add his talents to the Dayton team.”
Hatton said, “The move to Taft ensures my clients will benefit from the robust variety of legal services offered. Taft has attorneys who focus on almost every aspect of law a business might need, and that’s a great advantage for my clients. I am proud to be a part of my client’s professional journey from formation through successful exit.”
Hatton received his J.D. from the University of Dayton Law School and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2000. He earned his B.S. in accounting in 1994 from Wright State University. Hatton is an Ohio State Bar Association Fellow and serves on the board of both the Dayton Dance Conservatory Company and We Care Arts.
