Taft Welcomes Six New Attorneys to the Cincinnati Office
Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce that Sarah Clay Leyshock, Jessica H. Bechtel, Caitlin G. Felvus, Conor H. Meeks, Alex T. Poe and Jonathan D. Tebbs have joined the firm’s Cincinnati office.
Sarah Clay Leyshock is an of counsel attorney in the firm’s Labor & Employment group. She focuses her practice on representing employers in litigation related to the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans With Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as well as other federal and state laws addressing age, sex, race, national origin, and disability discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, wrongful termination and other workplace issues. Leyshock graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in communication arts and psychology from Georgetown College and earned her J.D. from Northern Kentucky University, Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
Jessica H. Bechtel is an associate in the firm’s Litigation group. She received a B.S. in biochemistry from Miami University and earned her J.D., summa cum laude and Order of the Coif, from University of Kentucky College of Law. While in law school, Bechtel served on the editorial board of the Kentucky Law Journal.
Caitlin G. Felvus is an associate in the firm’s Litigation group. She received a B.S. in journalism, summa cum laude, from Ohio University E. W. Scripps School of Journalism and earned her J.D., summa cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. During law school, Felvus was the editor of the inaugural UC Law Review Blog.
Conor H. Meeks is an associate in the firm’s Labor & Employment group. He received a B.S. in accounting and management, summa cum laude, from Purdue University, Krannert School of Management, where he passed the Uniform CPA examination. Meeks earned his J.D., summa cum laude, Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers, from Pepperdine University School of Law.
Alex T. Poe is an associate in the firm’s Business & Finance group. He received a B.A. in general business administration, cum laude, from Michigan State University, Eli Broad College of Business and earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School, where he served as a blog editor for the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Jonathan D. Tebbs is an associate in the firm’s Litigation group. He received a B.A. in English literature, summa cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati and earned his J.D., summa cum laude and Order of the Coif, from University of Alabama School of Law, where he was executive editor of law review. Prior to joining Taft, Tebbs was a judicial extern for the Honorable R. David Proctor, United States District Court in Birmingham, Ala., and a law clerk with the Office of Capital Writs in Austin, Texas.
