Taft Welcomes Partner Brian Dershaw to the Cincinnati Office
Dershaw works closely with clients on projects related to drafting and implementing policies, employee discipline and discharge issues, employee contracts, reductions in force, and general legal issues. He also advises in the areas of wage and hour and employee and independent contractor classification. Dershaw’s labor practice focuses on collective bargaining, fact-finding, arbitration, and strike avoidance and preparation.
Dershaw was recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star by Cincinnati Magazine in 2010, 2011, and 2012 and is a fellow of the Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Lawyers (CALL), Class X. He serves as a mentor to newly admitted attorneys in the Supreme Court of Ohio’s Lawyer-to-Lawyer Mentoring Program and is a member of the Character & Fitness Committee of the Cincinnati Bar Association.
