Taft Welcomes Giglio to Chicago M&A Team
Taft is pleased to announce that Ozzie (Anthony) Giglio has joined the firm’s Chicago office as an attorney in its Mergers and Acquisitions group.
Giglio brings extensive experience advising companies, entrepreneurs, and investors on complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic growth initiatives, and real estate matters. He is the Chief Investment Officer for Alecko Capital and EVP Capital Markets for its Private Credit Fund, Alecko Lending. Giglio was also the founder and CEO of Windy City Motorcycle Company and related Real Estate Holdings, founded in 2000 and sold in 2025. His background as both a legal advisor and business operator provides clients with a practical, results-oriented perspective.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ozzie to Taft,” said Paul Jenson, partner-in-charge of Taft’s Chicago office. “He is a highly accomplished business-minded attorney with deep roots in the Chicago market. Ozzie’s entrepreneurial approach and ability to connect legal strategy with business objectives make him a strong addition to our growing platform and a great fit within our Chicago team.”
Giglio has experience working with privately held companies across a range of industries, guiding them through acquisitions, financings, and operational expansion. His leadership roles, which involve significant acquisition activity and real estate development, provide him with a unique lens on dealmaking and growth strategy.
“From an M&A standpoint, Ozzie brings exactly the kind of experience our clients value,” said Jeremy Stonehill, Taft partner and Chicago business practice group lead. “He understands how to drive transactions forward efficiently while keeping a sharp focus on client goals. His addition further strengthens our ability to serve clients in Chicago and beyond.”
“I’m excited to join Taft and collaborate with such a dynamic and forward-thinking team,” said Giglio. “The firm’s national platform, entrepreneurial culture, and commitment to client service align with how I approach my practice.”
Following the completion of three mergers in 2025, Taft is one of the fastest-growing law firms in the nation with more than 1,250 attorneys in 25 offices and projected revenues exceeding $1 billion.
