Taft Team Wins in Dismissal of Charlestown Mayoral Election Recount
Taft attorneys Chou-il Lee, Manny Herceg and Kayla Moody-Grant represented Mayor-Elect Treva Hodges defending a Verified Petition for Recount and Election Contest filed by G. Robert Hall. Taft acted as co-counsel and represented Mayor-Elect Hodges on the election contest claims. Following a unanimous decision by the recount commission on Dec. 14 certifying the election results in favor of Mayor-Elect Hodges, the court dismissed the election contest, with prejudice. Mayor-Elect Hodges will take office on Jan. 1, 2020.
