Taft Represents Securus in Closing of Series C Financing Transaction

Cleveland partner Howard Bobrow and the Taft venture capital team assisted Securus Medical Group, Inc., a privately held medical device company, with closing a $10 million Series C financing led by Boston Scientific on Sept. 15.

A business and transactional lawyer, Bobrow is co-chair of Taft’s Venture Capital practice and is a member of Taft’s Business & Finance group. He also serves on Taft’s Executive Committee. Securus Medical Group, Inc. is developing easy to use, real-time, noncontact, thermal mapping systems to determine intrabody tissue temperatures. The company maintains administrative headquarters at Cleveland Clinic's Global Cardiovascular Innovation Center and has R&D operations in Massachusetts.
