Taft moved up one spot to No. 16 on Chicago Lawyer magazine’s 2025 Largest Law Firms list with 155 attorneys. The firm expanded its Chicago team by adding 11 attorneys in the areas of bankruptcy and restructuring, business, intellectual property, litigation, and tax, increasing its headcount by 7.6% over the previous year.

Continuing its growth, Taft has already welcomed 14 attorneys to its Chicago office in 2025.
