Taft is pleased to announce that its Minneapolis office has been named one of 11 recipients of Finance & Commerce’s 2026 Empowering Women Award. The Empowering Women Award recognizes Minnesota companies and organizations demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing and supporting women in the workplace and throughout the community. Honorees were selected by an independent panel of judges based on their efforts to recruit, retain, promote, and mentor women while fostering inclusive workplace cultures.

The recognition highlights Taft’s firmwide efforts to support women’s professional growth through initiatives such as its Gender Advancement Committee and Women of Taft groups. These programs provide mentorship, leadership development, and business-building opportunities across offices, and foster meaningful connections for women attorneys and professional staff. In Minneapolis, initiatives such as the annual Support Her Endeavors (SHE) events further strengthen relationships among clients, colleagues, and community leaders while supporting the next generation of women professionals. Taft remains committed to creating opportunities to help women grow, lead, and thrive professionally.
