Taft Minneapolis' Pockl and Trana Named Minnesota Lawyer 2020 Up & Coming Attorneys and Unsung Legal Heroes Award Recipients
Taft Minneapolis attorney Lauren Pockl and facilities manager Cynthia Trana were recognized by Minnesota Lawyer as recipients of this year’s Up & Coming Attorneys and Unsung Legal Heroes awards.
Minnesota Lawyer Up & Coming Attorneys and Unsung Legal Heroes honorees represent select attorneys and legal professionals who demonstrate an aptitude and drive for success early in their careers. All Up & Coming Attorney honorees are in their first decade of practice. Unsung Legal Heroes are representative of seven categories: legal administrative assistant, paralegal or judicial clerk, administrator or office manager, librarian, accounting staff, information technology, and marketing. Pockl is a member of the firm’s Energy practice and is licensed in Minnesota, Colorado, and North Dakota. She practices primarily in the areas of Energy Law and Litigation, Public Utility Regulation, and Business Litigation. Her practice involves advising gas and electric utilities in rate case and other regulatory proceedings before multiple state commissions. Additionally, Pockl represents clients in high-risk asbestos cases.
Trana serves as a facilities manager in the firm’s Minneapolis office, where she provides project coordination on remodeling projects and oversees office safety and health protocols in accordance with Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines.
