Taft Minneapolis Adds Three Associate Attorneys
The Taft Minneapolis office welcomes associate attorneys Abby Sunberg, Leah Thorson, and Bethany Venegoni in the Litigation, Lending and Finance, and Employment and Labor Relations practice groups.
Abby Sunberg joins the Litigation group and was previously a summer associate in 2020. She earned a juris doctor degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, manga cum laude. Sunberg served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Timothy J. McManus in Dakota County, Minn. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Susan Richard Nelson at the U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota.
Leah Thorson joins the Lending and Finance practice group and was a summer associate in 2020. Thorson received a juris doctor, magna cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. While at Mitchell Hamline, she was a recipient of the Burton Award for Excellence in Legal Writing and earned the CALI Award for Mergers and Acquisitions.
Bethany Venegoni joins the Employment and Labor Relations group and was a former summer associate at the firm. She earned her juris doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, magna cum laude. Venegoni previously served as a law clerk for a Minneapolis business law firm and has experience as an HR generalist conducting fact investigations, managing workers compensation claims, and affirmative action plans, and assisting in several reorganizations.
