Taft Indianapolis Welcomes Ulbricht
Taft is pleased to welcome Ashley Ulbricht as of counsel in its Indianapolis office. Prior to joining Taft, she served as City Attorney for the City of Carmel, Ind. and General Counsel to the Carmel Redevelopment Commission. Ulbricht joins Taft’s Indiana municipal group which has experienced significant growth and includes several former corporation counsel and city/town attorneys.
Ulbricht focuses her municipal practice in litigation with a concentration on redevelopment, real estate, utility and telecommunications, zoning and planning, land use, construction project management, music and movie licensing, code enforcement litigation, public safety discipline, contract negotiation, and employment law.
Ulbricht is active in the community and has held numerous leadership positions in professional and civic organizations. She is a member of the Indiana Municipal Lawyers Association where she serves as a member of the litigation committee and has been appointed to serve on the AIM Utilities Policy Committee. She is also a member of the International Municipal Lawyers Association and currently serves as vice chair to the Code Enforcement Section. In addition, Ulbricht volunteers on the events committee for the Carmel Youth Assistance Program (CYAP) and served on the board of directors for the Center for the Performing Arts.
She is a graduate of Valparaiso School of Law and St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame.
