Taft Indianapolis Welcomes Hutchinson to IP Group
Taft welcomes Garrett Hutchinson to the firm’s Intellectual Property group in the Indianapolis office.
Hutchinson’s practice focuses on trademark and copyright prosecution, trademark clearance, IP enforcement and litigation, WIPO UDRP proceedings, sweepstakes law, and the right of publicity. His work ranges from helping his clients select and file trademarks to handling complex IP litigation and TTAB matters. He also has experience drafting and administering IP licenses for clients and assisting in preparing IP valuation reports for tax purposes, assessing civil damages, and transactional purposes.
Prior to joining Taft, Hutchinson was an attorney at another regional firm where he focused his practice on trademark prosecution and IP litigation. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Indiana University Bloomington Maurer School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in English from Butler University.
