Taft Indianapolis Welcomes Five Attorneys
Taft welcomes five attorneys to the firm’s Indianapolis office.
Phillip J. Fowler is a partner in Taft’s Litigation group. He is a highly experienced attorney with a demonstrated history of serving corporate clients in a wide variety of complex litigation and transactional matters. His combined private law firm practice and general counsel experience over nearly three decades give him a unique perspective in advising his clients. Fowler earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and his B.S. from Indiana University.
John T. Gordon is a member of Taft’s Business group and focuses his practice on counseling emerging technology companies. He also has a specific focus on serving space industry clients. Gordon earned his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and his B.S. from Eastern Kentucky University.
Katelyn Klingler Leveque is a member of Taft’s Real Estate group. Her experience includes a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including negotiating and drafting real estate purchase and sale agreements, conveyance documents, and commercial leases. Leveque earned her J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Indiana University.
Karri L. Meldrum is of counsel in Taft’s Business group and focuses her practice on contracts, compliance, and commercial transactions. Prior to joining Taft, Meldrum was in-house counsel with the Indiana Department of Revenue, where she was a contracts and compliance attorney and negotiated, drafted, and authorized contracts through the state procurement process. She earned her J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney Law School and her M.B.A. and B.S. from the Minnesota School of Business.
Kyra Rimsans is of counsel in Taft’s Real Estate group practicing primarily in the areas of commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions and commercial real estate finance. Prior to joining Taft, she was the general counsel at a real estate development, construction, and property management company. Rimsans earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and her B.S., cum laude, from Butler University.
