Taft announces increased starting associate salaries and corresponding increases in salaries for all associates throughout the firm, together with an enhanced firm-wide, incentive-based bonus program for all associates to reward both objective and intangible contributions to Taft and the clients it serves. Taft’s 1,850 associate billable hour goal remains unchanged. 

Effective Oct. 1, 2021, starting associate compensation will increase as follows: 

• Chicago:
  • Increased to $195,000.
• Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton:
  • Increased to $140,000.
• Cleveland and Indianapolis:
  • Increased to $150,000.
• Minneapolis:
  • Increased to $180,000.
