Taft welcomes Brent D. Mosby as of counsel to the firm’s Business practice group in Indianapolis.

Mosby has more than twenty years of experience as in-house counsel and as a private practitioner. He gained significant experience as the lead in-house lawyer for three enterprise software companies, a large public pension fund, and one of the nation’s largest private homebuilders. Mosby leverages this in-house experience and his time in private practice to provide clients with pragmatic counsel on a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital finance transactions, commercial transactions, and general corporate counseling.

Through a series of strategic mergers in recent years, including the most recent with Sherman & Howard in the Mountain West, Taft has become one of the fastest-growing firms in the Am Law 100, with more than 1,050 attorneys spanning from the Mountain West region to Washington, D.C. Continuing this momentum, Taft recently announced its expansion into Florida through a merger with the Mrachek Law firm, a litigation boutique based in West Palm Beach and Stuart.
