Taft Brings in Accomplished Mergers and Acquisitions Attorney to Chicago
Taft is pleased to welcome experienced business attorney Jeff Mattson to its Chicago office, where he will join as a partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions practice. Mattson brings valuable talent to Taft, with extensive experience representing middle-market companies in M&A transactions with purchase prices ranging from $20 million-$500 million.
Mattson focuses on first-time sellers of businesses across a variety of industries. At his prior firm, Mattson was co-chair of the Corporate Group, was chair of the M&A Practice Group, and created the group’s tagline “The M&A Team for First-Time Sellers.” During his career, Mattson has closed more than 350 M&A transactions. He also advises companies on private placements, start-ups, equity compensation, and joint ventures.
