Taft Attorneys Quoted in IBJ Article on Social Entrepreneurship Study

Taft partners Stacia Buechler and Russell Menyhart are quoted in the Indianapolis Business Journal article “Local firms seek to advance social entrepreneurship in central Indiana,” which was published on Feb. 8. The article discusses the report released by Taft and Achieve that explores the state of social entrepreneurship in central Indiana and what it takes to attract social entrepreneurs and support social enterprises. 

Buechler leads Taft’s Commercial Contracts practice and is also a member of the Social Enterprise, Start-Up and Growth Companies, Mergers and Acquisitions and Technology practices. She advises socially responsible enterprises in all industries on matters that include start-up, growth issues, sustainability, raising impact investing capital, commercial contracting and B Corp certification.

Menyhart is a member of Taft’s Litigation and Social Enterprise practices. He is actively involved in promoting the growth of purpose-driven companies, social enterprises and impact investing in Indiana and advises social entrepreneurs on how legal structures, such as benefit corporations, can express and promote their values.
