Taft Attorney Harrison Tapped to Ohio Senate Competitive Workers' Compensation Task Force
DAYTON, Ohio – Jennifer Hann Harrison, a partner at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLC, in the firm’s Dayton office, has been named to the Ohio Senate’s Competitive Workers’ Compensation Task Force that was formed recently. The task force, comprised of 23 members representing employees, employers, insurance companies, managed care organizations, third-party administrators, local governments, business owners, lawyers and legislators, will study alternatives, including marketplace competition, with respect to the state’s workers’ compensation program. The group will report the task force’s findings to Gov. Ted Strickland and the leaders of the General Assembly by June 30th.
Hann Harrison practices in the firm’s areas of Worker’s Compensation, and represents clients in a variety of employment-related matters. She has defended numerous cases to jury trial. Harrison is a member of the Dayton Bar Association, previously serving as Chair of the DBA Certified Grievance Committee. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, serving on the Council of Delegates, and is a member of the Ohio Self-Insurers’ Association. She was also chosen as a 2009 Ohio State Bar Foundation Fellow.
